• XEV 9e takes the bigger booking pool
• New ‘Default’ drive mode introduced
Mahindra crossed a milestone in its electric mobility segment, having recently surpassed the 3,000 deliveries for the BE 6 and the XEV 9e since 20 March, 2025.
A major chunk of buyers have picked the Pack Three variant. The carmaker states that current booking trends shift towards the XEV 9e followed by the BE6, with the former taking up a 59 per cent booking pool, while the latter takes 41 per cent. The waiting period currently extends up to six months for these eSUVs, and the brand states that it is scaling up deliveries across the country to keep up with the rising influx of bookings.

Additionally, both the BE 6 and the XEV 9e get a new ‘Default’ drive mode, specially designed for first-time EV adopters. This will help make a smooth transition from ICE to EV, the carmaker says.
The Mahindra BE 6 and the XEV 9e are born-electric SUVs based on the carmaker’s INGLO platform. This platform enables charging speeds of up to 175kW, effectively topping up the battery from 20 to 80 per cent in 20 minutes. This platform equips the SUVs with a motor rated to churn out 281.61bhp and 380Nm torque. Additionally, the carmaker provides lifetime warranty on the battery pack for the first owner.
