- New features added
Toyota recently launched the 2025 edition of the Urban Cruiser Hyryder, starting at an ex-showroom price of Rs. 11.34 lakh. Barring new features, the mid-size SUV is now offered in a new AWD automatic version, and here is all you need to know about it.
New AWD AT Variant
The top-of-the-line V variant of the Hyryder is now available with a six-speed automatic gearbox, paired with an all-wheel drive system. However, do note that the AWD version is no longer offered with a five-speed manual gearbox.
New Features
The carmaker has also introduced new features across the Hyryder's variants. The top-spec variants now get an eight-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, ventilated front seats, TPMS, USB Type-C charging ports, ambient lighting, rear door sunshades, LED reading and spot lamps, new AQI display, and a new speedometer.
Added Safety
Toyota now offers six airbags as standard across all variants of the Hyryder. Earlier, the entry-level variants only got dual airbags. On the other hand, the SUV's automatic variants now feature an Electronic Parking Brake.
Powertrain
The latest iteration of the Urban Cruiser Hyryder comes with the same engine options as before. The only difference is with the aforementioned automatic AWD. The set of powertrains includes a mild hybrid and a strong hybrid powertrain. Both use a 1.5-litre petrol mill, but the latter comes paired with an electric motor. The SUV also continues to be offered with a factory-fitted CNG kit.
