- Could be launched in the coming months
- Will get a dual-CNG cylinder technology
Tata Motors is probably working on a new variant of the Curvv coupe-SUV, as we wait for the anticipated Dark Edition to be launched in India. Fresh spy shots surfaced on the web reveal an upcoming powertrain option for the Hyundai Creta rival.

As seen in the images here, the Tata Curvv's test mule is fully camouflaged. With the launch of the new Dark Edition right around the corner, the wrapped car is likely to be the CNG version. Compared to the current model on sale, we don’t see any visual changes.
The updates to the Curvv CNG variant are likely to be limited to the i-CNG badge on the tailgate, dual-CNG cylinders stored in the boot, and an additional button on the centre console to switch between CNG and petrol modes.

Under the hood, the new Tata Curvv iCNG is expected to be powered by a 1.2-litre, turbo-petrol engine, paired with a six-speed manual transmission. This setup, currently available in the Nexon, produces 99bhp and 170Nm. It remains to be seen if the CNG derivative of the coupe-SUV gets an automatic trim too.
