It’s a fresh beginning, be it the new financial year or the start of a new month. This means that there will be a set of new cars coming up our alley. Let us now take a closer look at the launches lined up for the next few weeks.
Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line

Volkswagen surprised us by announcing two new CBUs for the Indian market - the Golf GTI and the Tiguan R-Line. The sportier iteration of the Tiguan, which is the first in the pipeline, will be launched on 14 April.
Under the hood, the new Tiguan R-Line will be powered by a 2.0-litre, TSI petrol engine, producing 201bhp and 320Nm. Paired with a seven-speed DCT unit, it also gets the signature 4Motion all-wheel-drive system. The car will also get visual enhancements, details of which you can read on our website.
2025 BYD Seal

Last month, BYD introduced the 2025 Seal electric sedan for the Indian market. The model receives a revised feature set as a part of its MY25 update. The model continues to be offered in three variants, prices of which will be announced this month.
The Seal EV is available with two battery pack options – 61.44kWh and 82.56kWh units, getting a claimed range of up to 650km on a single charge. The company also launched the MY25 Atto 3 last month, details of which are available on our website.
Tata Curvv Dark Edition

Joining the league of Tata’s Dark Edition cars soon will be the Curvv coupe-SUV. The special edition of the Citroen Basalt rival has already started arriving at local dealerships, hinting that it could be launched soon.
Compared to the standard car, the Curvv Dark Edition will get a black paint, ‘#Dark’ badges on the front fenders, all-black interior theme, and rear sun blinds. It will be available with petrol and diesel engines in the top-spec Accomplished variant.
Citroen Basalt Dark Edition

Another special edition expected to arrive this month is the Basalt Dark Edition. The latest of these iterations will, in typical fashion, get an all-black exterior paint and interior theme. It could be further accentuated with glossy black inserts and contrast-coloured stitching.
The Basalt won’t be the only Citroen car to get a Dark Edition, as the carmaker has also confirmed the special edition for the C3 and the Aircross. Specs and features are likely to remain unchanged.
