- Multiple carmakers to increase prices this month
Last month, Maruti Suzuki announced a price hike, effective from April 2025. The carmaker has now revealed more details, stating that the new prices will be applicable from 8 April.

According to the company, the prices are being revised due to rising input costs, operational expenses, regulatory changes, and feature additions. Prices of select models will undergo upward revisions next week onwards.

Starting with the Grand Vitara, the Creta rival will witness a hike of up to Rs. 62,000, followed by the Eeco with a premium of up to Rs. 22,500. Next up are the Wagon R, Ertiga, XL6, and the Fronx, with an upward revision of up to Rs. 14,000, Rs. 12,500, Rs. 12,500, and Rs. 2,500, respectively. Apart from Maruti, OEMs like Hyundai, Tata Motors, Mahindra, Kia, Nissan, and Renault will revise the prices of their cars this month.
