The Tata Nexon CNG Red Dark showcased at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Expo has been launched with prices starting at Rs. 12.70 lakh and topping out at Rs. 13.69 lakh. It’s available in the Fearless+ PS, Creative+ PS and Creative+S variants.
Highlights of the Red Dark Edition
The major highlights of the Red Dark Edition include the exterior carbon black paint scheme with red accents, red leatherette upholstery, red stitching and piano black interior trim. The highest-spec Fearless+ PS variant gets features like dual 10.20-inch digital screens, climate control with rear AC vents, ventilated front seats, LED light package and a panoramic sunroof with voice support for operations in multiple languages (hence PS in the name).
Powertrain and real-world mileage
A 1.2-litre turbo petrol producing 98.5bhp and 170Nm powers the Nexon CNG. This engine can only be had with a six-speed MT. It uses Tata’s twin-cylinder technology with a total capacity of 60 litres for the CNG tank and boot space at 321 litres. Tata claims a mileage of 17.44km/kg and in our real-world tests, we got 11.65 km/kg in the city and 17.5km/kg out on the highway giving us a combined average of 13km/kg.
